Amazon is offering some customers a smart plug for $4.99 when you use the promo code GLOW5 at checkout. If that code doesn’t work, try GLOW10, which will known down the price to $9.99.
This is a YMMW offer.
YMMW is an abbreviation for “Your Mileage May Vary”. It basically means that it’s available to some Amazon customers and not to others.
Steps To Get Offer
It’s working for quite a few people, but not for everyone. You can check if you’re targeted by following these 3 steps:
- Add the Echo Glow through the link above
- Proceed to checkout
- Add the promo code GLOW5 in the promo code field and click “Apply” (see picture below)

The Bottom Line
Even if you don’t want it, you can easily make a profit if you’re able to grab one at the discounted price and resell it.
I tried to see if this worked on a few different Amazon accounts and struck out on all of them. It’s safe to say this offer is very targeted compared to other Amazon offers.
It’s too bad since Amazon Echo Glow devices really look interesting. They say it’s a multicolor smart lamp for kids, but I actually like the look of it!
Does anyone else think of it as a nightlight of the future? I can’t be the only adult that thinks so… right?
Keep in mind that you need to pair this with an Alexa device for it to work. If you need an Alexa device, here’s a matching panda Echo Dot [Amazon].
