It’s working for quite a few people, but not for everyone. You can check if you’re targeted by following these 3 steps:
- Add the smart plug through the link above

I just tried the PLUG one and it worked for me. Told my dad and brother about it and the code didn’t work for either of them with their amazon accounts. none of the codes worked for them. They tried just 10 minutes after I ordered mine… really strange. maybe there’s a limited number of people they let use the coupons? or only customers who’ve already been shopping for smart plugs get targeted with the code?
No limit – this has been on-going for quite some time. It’s just some accounts aren’t able to add it at the same time as other accounts. Amazon seems to open this up for more people on a daily basis, so you’ll just have to check every now and then to see if it works.
None of these worked. Honey said Plug would work and has recently worked, but did not for me. There must be a catch… I tried using it on prime and amazon smile… neither worked.
Hey Jeff, it’s too bad you couldn’t get any of the codes to work. There’s no catch, Amazon offers like this are targeted to some accounts and not others. I’m sure there’s an algorithm involved, but no one has figured it out! I will say that some people who weren’t targeted previously got it to work later.
It’s random for me. One month it won’t work, but the following month it will with the same code.
It’s weird. My son’s account it works with but not mine. Not sure if it has to do with whether you are a prime account or not. Mine is, but my son’s is not.

I got it ordering from Alexa using my voice.
SMARTPLUG99 worked for me and so did the $4.99 Alexa deal. Amazon never targets me so I guess it was my lucky day.
None of the codes worked – bummer.

Amazon deals are very random, I still haven’t found a pattern on who they target. Have you tried the $4.99 version with Alexa voice ordering?
