What is Hodlnaut?
Hodlnaut is a crypto platform that allows investors to earn interest on their cryptocurrencies. They offer interest rates as high as 12.73% APY with weekly payouts. There’s no lock-in period, but you can earn a higher yield by locking in a minimum amount of cryptocurrency for one month or more.

The Bottom Line
Effective March 7, 2022, Hodlnaut is increasing the sign-up bonus from $20 to $30 and the referral bonus is changing from a 10% commission on your friend’s interest to a one-time $30 bonus. Users will also get $20 USDC per referral for all past referrals made before this date as compensation (only referrals with an account balance more than $0 will count).
Hodlnaut supports BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, DAI, and WBTC so those are the crypto assets you can transfer over to get the bonuses. Use a platform that offers easy transfers like Gemini or Nexo.
Besides the new user promo, Hodlnaut has one of the highest crypto interest rates in the industry right now. Earning 12.73% on USDC is huge and the reason I’m holding some of my USDC here.
Keep in mind that while USDC is a stablecoin that’s pegged to the U.S. dollar on a 1:1 ratio, you still have platform risks.
Hodlnaut is a bit more aggressive in their lending practices compared to other crypto platforms like Gemini, Ledn, and BlockFi – it’s likely the reason why they’re able to offer higher rates.
After speaking directly with the Hodlnaut staff, I’m comfortable holding some assets here, but not to the same level as Gemini (who I consider the safest exchange of the CeFi platforms).
Either way, you should never put all your eggs in one basket. I spread my risk around by holding stablecoins across many crypto platforms.
