The Bottom Line
This promo gets two ninja thumbs up. Getting $50 for depositing $75 is hot deal, especially for a crypto platform that rarely offers a sign-up bonus.
The revised sign-up bonus of $10 is obviously not nearly as great as the $50 Ledn previously offered, but we don’t know if the higher bonus will ever come back.
USDC is a stablecoin that’s backed 1:1 to the US dollar. This stablecoin is similar to Gemini dollar (GUSD), where I put $50,000 to earn a 9.00% APY rate.
You’ll need to transfer USDC or BTC from another platform for this offer since Ledn doesn’t support bank deposits via ACH. I’d recommend using Gemini or Binance.US for their low-fee transfers.
Ledn is also one of the few places that I would personally store my crypto holdings long-term. While I have signed up for virtually every bonus offer available on the many exchanges and platforms, there are only a few that are superb when it comes to:

Could you tell me if the $50 bonus is still valid?
The $50 bonus was a holiday promo. It’s back at the standard $10.
I opened a Ledn account and tried several times/day to deposit the $75 USDC, but each time I tried to deposit I got a message Ledn was unable to process my request (due to high traffic). On 1/1/22 I got an email from Ledn saying that I was denied the referral bonus b/c I hadn’t made the required deposit by 12/31/21. Not cool.
That’s unfortunate. I never heard of an exchange not being able to process a request since crypto transfers are done on the blockchain and not on a crypto platform itself. What platform did you make the transfer from and did the USDC go back to original wallet?
The “unable” message that I repeatedly got from Ledn was at the point of requesting an address to transfer to (which I was going to make from my binance.us account). Ledn was unable to provide an address, and so I wasn’t even able to initiate the transfer from binance.us. On Jan 1, after getting the email from Ledn that I would not receive the $50 referral bonus, I went through the motions of transferring USDC to Ledn (i.e., clicking on “USDC Savings” and then “Deposit”), and the wallet address came up immediately this time. Hmm. I know that I could still get a $10 referral bonus…but doesn’t seem worth the hassle, esp. compared to $50.
I understand now. My address request from Ledn happened immediately (it showed up as soon as I hit the request button).
I’d still do the $10 bonus since Ledn is one of the more conservative platforms that earn interest at a decent rate with BTC and USDC. When I signed up, I used a reader’s code for a $10 bonus (the $50 referral bonus was a limited-time holiday promotion).
