The Bottom Line
Occasionally, referral bonuses get increased to $60 ($10 sign-up bonus and $50 direct deposit bonus) for a short promotional period.
A $55 bonus is lukewarm considering other apps like MoneyLion are providing better sign-up bonuses (like Chime, Plynk, and Juno). The MoneyRoar account also has a $1 per month service fee for accounts with balances less than $5,000. They do however have more features compared to other fintech apps. The MoneyRoar account now has no monthly service fee as of 2023.
