Thank you for commenting and I also share similar concerns. Like you, I have assets frozen on the crypto platforms you’ve mentioned. It’s unfortunate that a few bad actors and irresponsible lending practices have caused pressure across the entire industry.
I reflect back on how other markets have been impacted in the past. Stocks imploded during the Dot-com Bubble of 2000-2001 and real estate crashed during the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Many lost significant amounts of money. However, there were opportunities to be had and both of those industries are higher today.
Based on those thoughts, I made a decision to let readers know about these promotions and leave it up to their discretion whether or not to take part. Many of these platforms offer free crypto that can be transferred to a cold wallet (e.g. Ledger or Arculus), protecting you against what’s happening.
As a personal finance “influencer” (I hate that word), I make it a priority not to post about something that I wouldn’t use myself. That would be a disservice to people like you who visit my site regularly.
