“Reward”: A twenty-five ($25) USD voucher that will be viewable in the “Offers” section of the Eligible Participant’s Valid Account. The offer will be sent to Eligible Participant’s Valid Account within five (5) business days of the of the Qualifying Transaction purchase. There is a limit of one (1) Reward per Valid Account.
“Eligible Purchase(s)”: Purchases made in USD using a Valid Account at U.S. merchants that accept PayPal during the Redemption Period. The Bottom Line
Originally, PayPal offered $10 of free crypto when you spend $10 on crypto. They just increased it to $25.
Venmo also has a $25 crypto promotion with similar terms – details in this post. Might as well take advantage of both deals.
I wouldn’t use PayPal to buy crypto because a 5% transaction fee is high, but I’ll make an exception for a deal that gives you more in crypto than the fee itself. This offer requires $100, so a 5% fee on that base comes out to $5.
Rather than collecting Bitcoin, I’m diversifying my cryptocurrencies a little bit and bought Ethereum. I got the $25 PayPal reward within seconds of completing my purchase.
How long do I have to hold the crypto before I get the $25?

Hey Chris, you just need to use PayPal anywhere it’s accepted. When I did it, the rewards showed up on my account pretty quickly after the purchase.
So I dont have to actually redeem it to use it? It just automatically gets applied on my next valid purchase? So itd be applied just buying $25 more of crypto through PayPal?
Correct. Once you buy $25 worth of crypto, it will automatically apply the $25 promo on your next valid PayPal purchase. I think when I did it, I got an email confirmation too.
