Porte is a mobile banking app with bank services provided and FDIC-insured through Metabank. The Porte account is a hybrid checking and savings solution that features no monthly fees, no minimum balances, and fee-free access to over 32,000 MoneyPass ATMs across the United States.
Its biggest benefit is the Porte Savings Account that earns a base rate of 0.20% APY, but if you meet the requirements for the Bonus Savings each quarter, you’ll earn a 3.00% APY on balances up to $15,000 during that quarter!

The Bottom Line
All Porte bonus offers and referral bonuses ended in late 2021/early 2022, which is unfortunate since Porte is also a good option to earn a high interest rate. Nevertheless, I’m going to open an account anyway and deposit $15,000 to maximize the 3.00% APY.
