Hyatt Vacation Club Timeshare Promotion: 15k Hyatt Points or $150 Gift Card

I love easy ways to earn points, so I wanted to share a new promotion from Hyatt Vacation Club. You can earn up to 15,000 Hyatt points or a $150 Hyatt gift card for just 90 minutes of your time. Details below.

Hyatt Vacation Club Offer: 15,000 Points or $150 Gift Card

Let me preface by saying I don’t think timeshares are a good deal. But regardless of what I or you think about them, this offer can get you up to 15,000 Hyatt points or a $150 Hyatt gift card in exchange for listening to a 90-minute virtual timeshare presentation.

That’s worth it in my opinion, especially when it’s a virtual presentation that you can do in your pajamas. However, there are some eligibility rules:

  • If you’re married, cohabitating, or in a life partnership, both of you must attend the presentation together.
  • All participants must have audio and video activated during the presentation.
  • This incentive only applies to people living in (and participating in) the following states:
    • Alaska
    • Arizona
    • California
    • Colorado
    • Georgia
    • Illinois
    • Pennsylvania
    • Vermont
    • Washington, D.C.
    • Wisconsin
    • Wyoming
  • Participants must also have a combined annual income over $100,000 (they didn’t verify my income when I did the offer – not sure how they’d check anyway)

If you meet those requirements and complete the sales presentation, youll be awarded the following incentives:

  • Individuals: 7,500 World of Hyatt points or $75 World of Hyatt gift card
  • Couples: 15,000 World of Hyatt points or $150 World of Hyatt gift card
  • Link to Offer

Additionally, you won’t be eligible for this promotion if:

  • you have taken a virtual sales presentation within the last 6 months (again, they didn’t ask or check on this)
  • you have a Hyatt Vacation ownership contract pending or on hold, if you had a contract with a sponsor, or any affiliate canceled in past 90 days
  • you’re an owner with delinquent maintenance fees or are in foreclosure, or if you’ve purchased a Hyatt Vacation Club timeshare within the last 90 days

Worth It?

If you’re someone who wouldn’t be able to say no to a timeshare offer, it’s probably best to skip the presentation.

However, if you are confident in your ability to take the points or gift card and walk away without signing up for anything, it could be worth your time.

I value Hyatt points at 1.5 cents each. So, 15,000 points are worth roughly $225. That works out to $150 per hour. If you value your time at more than $150 per hour, this deal probably isn’t worth it for you. But it could be worth participating if $150 per hour sounds good (or you value Hyatt points.)

If you decide to participate, the value of the points offered is greater than the gift card amount, so I recommend taking the points.

The Bottom Line

With this new promotion, you can pick up 7,500 to 15,000 Hyatt points by participating in a 90-minute timeshare presentation.

This Hyatt Vacation Club promotion is limited geographically and has some strict requirements, so it won’t appeal to everyone.

However, if you meet the criteria, have an extra 90 minutes of time, and have a strong will to say no to a timeshare presentation, this could be a good opportunity to pick up 7,500 or 15,000 Hyatt points.
