I’ve written in the past how much I love SoFi. In fact, when I reviewed SoFi Money, their cash management account, I was so impressed that I gave SoFi Money 9.5 out of 10 stars.
For those of you who are not familiar with SoFi, it’s an online personal finance company originally known for their competitive student loan programs. They’ve since branched out to offer savings accounts, personal loans, investment opportunities (stocks and cryptocurrency).

Eligible Participants:
- Checking your rate will not affect your credit score.
- The Promotion is open to anyone who resides within the United States and is of the age of majority in the state in which they reside. SoFi employees are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
- In order to be eligible to claim a bonus when checking your rate for a Student Loan Refinance loan, you must be able to provide proof that you are currently a borrower on a qualified education loan that is eligible for refinancing with SoFi.
- Participants will receive the $10 bonus gift card regardless of whether or not they are pre-qualified for a SoFi loan product.

The Bottom Line
From what I here, the rate of their loans are very competitive. SoFi was originally known for their great student loan product before they branched out to other financial products and services.
For someone who is curious to see what their student refinance rate could be, this is a deal I would jump on. There’s no affect on your credit score since SoFi performs a soft inquiry and not a hard one. The small $10 bonus helps too.
