- A “Qualifying Direct Deposit” is a direct deposit of regular monthly income – such as your salary, pension or Social Security benefits, which are made by your employer or other payer – using account and routing numbers that you provide to them.
- If you meet all of the requirements, Bank of America will deposit the earned bonus directly into your new personal checking account within sixty (60) days.
- The value of this bonus may constitute taxable income to you. Bank of America may issue an IRS Form 1099 (or other appropriate form) to you that reflects the value of such bonus.
The Bottom Line
There’s also a targeted $500 bonus available, but not everyone sees that offer and it requires direct deposits of $10,000 – much higher than what’s needed for this promo.
This looks like an easy offer to do and publicly available for everyone that hasn’t had a BoA personal checking account in the last 12 months.
I’ll add this to my list of the best bank bonuses.
Anyone know what works as a direct deposit with Bank of America?
