You can enjoy a 3-night getaway at top vacation destinations like Orlando, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and more for just $199 for the entire stay.

During your trip, you’ll learn about membership with Hilton Grand Vacations and afterwards you’ll get rewarded with 25,000 Hilton Honors Points — worth up to 3 free nights at over 700 Hilton properties.

Here are the steps to take advantage of this offer:

  1. Purchase: Lock in today’s low price and travel anytime in the next 12 months.
  2. Book: Once you have dates in mind, Hilton will help with the details of your getaway.
  3. Travel: Get ready to to head to one of Hilton Grand Vacations destinations.
  4. Explore: Once there, you’ll attend a Hilton Grand Vacations sales presentation.

Rescheduling Vacation Package

Once you’ve purchased your package, Hilton will reach out to see what your preferred travel dates are for your upcoming vacation. If your schedule changes or you need to rebook, you can reschedule a confirmed reservation up to seven days prior to arrival for a charge of $19.95.

If you need to change or cancel a confirmed reservation within seven days of your scheduled arrival, you’ll be charged the equivalent of one night at the currently published retail price ($175-$500) for the hotel/resort you booked. This fee also applies if you didn’t notify them and just didn’t show up (no-show reservations).

The Bottom Line

Timeshare presentations like this Hilton Grand Vacations offer are excellent opportunities to vacation for a huge discount and get free hotel points IF you can stand your ground and don’t end up buying a timeshare package.

It’s one of the ways we save money on our vacation trips. Other hotel chains have similar promotions, like this Marriott Vacation Club deal or this almost free vacation offer from Wyndham; both give you free points and a heavily discounted stay at select locations.

I received 25,000 Hilton points when I went with my wife to Las Vegas. I value each Hilton point at roughly $0.005 per point, so 25,000 Hilton points are worth about $125. It can be worth or less depending on which Hilton hotel you redeem the points at.

However, if you’re a person who can be influenced by a persuasive sales pitch or is uncomfortable with saying no a few dozen times, then I wouldn’t recommend getting into a high-pressure environment where you may not be making the best decision. Others who have succumbed to this usually experience buyer’s remorse at some point, and it’s difficult and costly to get out of a timeshare.
