About Webull

Webull is a mobile app brokerage account that lets you buy and sell stocks for free. Users get commission-free stock trades and can also trade exchange trades funds (ETFs) for no cost.

It very similar to Robinhood, the other popular mobile app-based stock account. If you want to learn more, I’ve written about it before. New members can get two free stocks worth up to $3,200 for signing up and depositing any amount to their account.

Webull Influencer Program is a bonus program exclusively for existing customers who want to become Webull influencers.

Webull is looking for people that have a lot of friends and family on Facebook or have a large following on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. In their own words:

“We would like to establish a long-term partnership to help create more values to both your platform as well as ours.”

It’s real easy to sign up. I just filled out a short form and included this blog. Others have included their Facebook profile with a hundred friends and got approved.

3 Compensation Plan Options

If you decide to join the influencer program, Webull is offering 3 different compensation plans. You can only choose ONE option:

Ninja Note: Plan E was added in the middle of 2021 and is the best plan right now for influencers. I switched from Plan B to Plan E when it was offered, although it appears to be only available for targeted influencers, so YMMV.

• Plan A: Get a free stock worth between $10 – $250 for each approved account, no deposit needed
• Plan B: Get a free stock worth between $30 – $1,400 for each approved account with a $100+ deposit
• Plan C: Get a free stock worth between $100 – $1,400 for each approved account with a $1,000+ deposit
• Plan E: Get a free stock worth $60 for each approved account that makes a deposit of any amount

Plan A is obviously the easiest because your referrals don’t need to deposit any money. That may be appealing for some readers.

Plan C has a nice referral bonus, but it depends on your referrals depositing $1,000 or more.

I chose Plan B since it seems like a good middle ground.

This also compares very favorably to the normal referral program (see below for the comparison), but the Webull Influencer Program has a unique benefit exclusive to this program only – a $300 bonus for referring other influencers!

$300 For Referring An Influencer

You and your friend will both receive an extra $300 bonus when they successfully sign up to the Webull Influencer Program.

• You’re eligible to claim the bonus when your friend has referred 5 people to Webull who successfully make an initial deposit of any or more within 30 days of signing up for the Webull Influencer Program.

So not only will you get a free stock for every referral, but anyone that joins the influencer program through you and get their own referrals, you’ll each make a cool $300!

Webull Influencer Program vs Normal Referral Program

Let’s compare the Webull Influencer Program versus the normal referral program that everyone is automatically part of when they have a Webull account.

While the Webull Influencer Program has 3 different referral compensation options, the normal referral program only has one.

• Normal Referral Program: Get 2 free stocks worth between $12 – $1,400 for each approved account with a $100+ deposit

The normal referral program closely aligns to Plan B of the influencer program, but as you can see, the minimum stock value you’ll get with the normal version is $24 ($12 x 2 stocks) compared to $30 in the Plan B of the influencer version ($30 x 1 stock) for a difference of $6 per referral.

The extra $6 can be huge if you have a lot of referrals.

The Bottom Line

It’s nice to see Webull come up with a new way of rewarding people who refer their friends and family to their stock trading app.

I also appreciate the fact that Webull only allows existing users to refer people. We’ve all seen how so many so-called influencers try to sell a product or service that they never use themselves.

They only want people who have used the Webull app and are happy to share with others.
