Avoiding Fees

The Chase Private Client account charges a monthly fee of $35 a month. You can waive this fee when do at least one of the following options in each statement period:

Option #1

  • maintain a monthly average balance of $150,000 or more in any combination of this account and linked qualifying Chase checking, savings, and other balances

Option #2

  • have a linked Chase Platinum Business Checking account

Fees shouldn’t be an issue if you’re doing the bonus because you need to keep at least $150,000 in it anyways.

The Bottom Line

Nice bonus!

Note that this is a different type of bonus than the standard Chase bank account opening bonuses. Chase considers this a separate type of bonus so you can do both and they’re on separate clocks. In other words, doing this bonus doesn’t make you ineligible for the other Chase checking/savings bonuses.

  1. As of 12/21/2020, when I click on the enrollment link for the $3,000 offer I get transferred to a Chase page with the message:

“You are not authorized to access this page.”

Is this offer no longer valid? I though it was good through 1/15/2021?
